Rambles in Lincolnshire – a unique exhibition of original railway posters promoting tourism in Lincolnshire

Rambles in Lincolnshire is a unique display of almost 100 original framed railway poster prints and maps, including examples by well know poster artists such as Kenneth Steel, Frank Mason, Fred Taylor, Tom Eckersley and John Hassall. This is a one of a kind exhibition and a rare opportunity to view such a large collection for free!

LOVE GRIMSBY event

LOVE GRIMSBY – Love Your Town is back on Saturday 15 February 2025!
 
Showcasing the best of Grimsby through an exciting programme that celebrates our town and our people.
 
Get ready to be ‘loved up’ by live performances, trails, workshops,  a pop up market in Grimsby Minster, walkabout street entertainment and installations as we celebrate our town and LOVE GRIMSBY!
 
Taking place across several venues and local shops, the event will bring you free fun for all ages and appreciation for our businesses and places.

 

Tuesday 4 March             St James Square

The Great Grimsby Pancake Race

Teams from the local community will gather at the starting line, St. James Square, in front of St James Hotel, for a TIME TRIAL RELAY RACE.

2025 Group Grimsby Town Centre Activities Fund

About the fund

This grant scheme is to support activities and events within and around Victoria Street in Grimsby and accepts applications from businesses, not for profit, voluntary and community organisations in North East Lincolnshire (ideally experienced in delivering activities in this area) that can clearly demonstrate how their project contributes to following:

Target Area of Benefit:

Projects must impact the area within and around the Victoria Street area of Grimsby

Priorities:

Projects should provide events and activities that address the following:

  • Increase footfall into Grimsby Town Centre
  • Increase engagement with town centre users
